With all the junk eMail we get these days, its great to get one that has something good! This is one of those. Free Stuff. Well, almost free.
If you are in the market for a new phone and you are considering Windows Phone, Microsoft has a deal for you. Sure, its not a free car, but its something. I am not 100% sure if the terms and conditions of the offer allow you to get a free phone or greatly reduced phone on Black Friday, but I cant see why that would matter.
The deal requires you to purchase any new Windows Phone from November 2, 2011 and December 31, 2011 and submit your request before Feb 14, 2012.

This offer is only available for the US, DC, and PR.

Were attached at the hip to our phones, and yet they remain frustratingly easy to lose Fast Company shares an infographic from mobile security firm Lookout that charts the 10 worst places to lose a smartphone, based on the odds of getting it back in working order:
- Swimming pool, 50-75% chance youll find it, 0-5% chance it will work: Unlike the rest of the list, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll recover the phone, but also a good chance that it’s forever doomed to be a paperweight
- Bus or Subway, 0-2% chance of recovery: Leaving your phone on any form of public transportation is a good way of ensuring you’ll never see it again
- School, 15-75%: Assuming you’re allowed to have it in the first place, you might get your phone back depending on who finds it
- Changing room, 0-15%: Surprisingly common
- Car roof, 25-75%: Ditto, with much depending on where it falls
