With all the junk eMail we get these days, its great to get one that has something good! This is one of those. Free Stuff. Well, almost free.

If you are in the market for a new phone and you are considering Windows Phone, Microsoft has a deal for you. Sure, its not a free car, but its something. I am not 100% sure if the terms and conditions of the offer allow you to get a free phone or greatly reduced phone on Black Friday, but I cant see why that would matter.

The deal requires you to purchase any new Windows Phone from November 2, 2011 and December 31, 2011 and submit your request before Feb 14, 2012.

Apple’s new iBooks Author application enables users to make interactive iBooks on their Mac. Apple says the software allows authors to make “stunning iBooks textbooks, cookbooks, history books, picture books, and more for iPad.” Richard Stevens, author of the Diesel Sweeties webcomic, has expanded that list of possibilities to include comic strips. Diesel Sweeties author Robert Stevens writes of the project:

Apple said today its iPad 2 will go on sale in 25 more countries this Friday, March 25.

iPad 2 will be available at Apple retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers at 5 p.m. local time and online at the Apple Store beginning at 1 a.m.

SearchMyFile is a portable desktop search software for the Windows operating system. The program’s portable nature ensures that searches do not leave traces on the system the program is executed on. And while that may slow down result generation a bit, it is still faster than many other programs that you can use to search for files and folders in Windows.

When you first start the program you will notice that two program windows are opened. The first window lets you configure the search parameters, the second displays the results.

It claims lowering copper prices would also reduce free cash flow, which is likely to reduce discretionary capital expenditure on infrastructure.

The Commission’s approach was also described as “a bit short sighted” by Cable Europe.
